In their “Couples hope luck is with them on 7/7/07″ article, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports a rash of weddings planned for July 7, 2007. The idea, it seems, is to cash in on the believed-to-be-lucky number 7.

It is day number 7 and month number 7. However, only by omitting all but one of the year’s digits can it become year number 7.

Still, belief plays a large part in outcomes. Because of belief, things are seen from certain perspectives and certain actions are taken. The results tend to support the belief.

The day itself is a number 5, a number of changes and new experiences and verbal expression. Marriages started on July 7, 2007 will tend to physically relocate often, to change life directions suddenly, and to express themselves well.

The site must have just started. It’s pretty bare bones. And their historical starts only some days ago, on June 13, 2007.

So, how does one calculate names with succession notations?

Example: Joe Doe, III

My preference is to do the calculations with the name as first recorded, probably a birth certificate. If uncertain about whether or not to use the succession notation in the calculation, do a reading for both and see which applies most.

For readings true to the birth certificate, type into the form what’s recorded on the certificate. If “III” is typed, calculate the three I’s. If “3rd.” is typed, calculate the digit 3 and the letters r and d.

It’s not our definition of words that count in these calculations; rather, it’s the vibrations of the individual characters that were recorded.

The vibrations of the first recording of the name will always be with the person, even through name changes. The original name vibrations probably will be more in the background when names change, but will always be present to some extent.

The more a person identifies with a name, the more power the vibrations of the name have and the more the vibrations of other name variations are in the background.

Similarly with succession notations. For “Name III,” if the person identifies strongly with “Name” and hardly with “Name III”, then readings of “Name” will seem more accurate because “Name III” will then be more in the background.

The vibrations of every permutation of an individual’s name are all present. The relative force of the vibrations which are present have to do with the perception of the person they apply to, which name the individual most strongly identifies with. Individual perception and self-identification do not determine which vibrations are present. But they do determine the force of the vibrations relative to each other.

It’s part of the reason I like numerology so much. It doesn’t stick people into unyielding slots.

Tomorrow is June 13, 2007.

At first, it was unique. Kinda fun. I looked at the clock. It was 11:11.

Then, it happened again. And I wondered if it will continue.

It did. I wondered about it and my subconscious, being the good provider that it is, continued drawing my attention when the clock said 11:11.

I notice it more and more. And then I wondered about other number pairs.

And, yes, I started noticing 1:11 and 3:33 and 12:12 and other pairs on the clock.

After a while, always noticing number pairs, it got kinda scary. I couldn’t help it. I just noticed them.

I couldn’t not notice them. I wanted to stop, but I couldn’t.

My subconscious had taken over, directing my attention to a clock whenever doubled numbers were displayed. It could be the clock at home, the one on my computer, clocks at stores. It didn’t matter. When it happened, I noticed.

How did I quit? I had to convince myself, and convince my subconscious, that it didn’t matter and that I no longer wonder about it and that I’m not even curious. And I had to sustain that conviction.

It took weeks. But it worked.

It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

In the Abusing English article, Deep laments that actors are abusing the English language for the same of better numerological profiles.

Deep, it’s not just in India.

In some cases, it may help to change a name. But it rarely helps to change a name because one doesn’t like what the current numerological profile is.   A name change only adds to the current vibrations, it doesn’t remove them.

Therefore, it is good to accept what’s present before piling more stuff on top of it. With stuff piled on top, the old vibes can be forgotten and the full potential never achieved.
